RULES

--round-1

Free and online. Pick one of the five tracks and submit your team's idea through the form by 10 November, 11:59 PM IST.

--shortlisting

The organisers review every idea and announce the shortlist a few days after Round 1 closes. Only shortlisted teams go to Round 2.

--round-2

Offline at AIT, 20–21 November. Shortlisted teams confirm their spot by paying ₹1,200 per team, then build their Round 1 idea in the same track.

--build-at-the-event

Your idea can exist before the event, your code can't. All project code is written during the 24 hours. Open-source libraries, frameworks and APIs are allowed.

--submission

Submit a code repository, a short README and a working demo before hacking ends. Late submissions are not judged.

JUDGING

At the end of Round 2, the top teams present their project to the judges, who look at:

  • • Problem fit. Does it fit your track and solve a real problem for the people it's meant for?
  • • Technical execution. Does it work, and how well is it built?
  • • Design and usability. Can someone pick it up and use it without a walkthrough?
  • • Presentation. How clearly you explain the problem, the solution and what you built.

Weights will be announced. See prizes(1).

CONDUCT

Be respectful to other teams, mentors and organisers. Organiser and judge decisions are final.

FILES

Things to bring:

  • • Laptops
  • • Chargers
